Jen and I have been busy with Christmas, the move, and just living our new lifestyle to keep things updated. I wanted to give an update on Mary’s health for everyone still tuned in on this blog.
Mary has started walking, she has been walking now for about 2 months, and is learning how to run now. She likes to play chasing games, and just loves to jump and play on everyone. Except Daisy.. she’s too grumpy for that. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you to Grammie, Grandpa, and Bampa and Eva (my grandparents) for your gifts. They have really helped this year.
Mary has also started saying the following words;
Yo/Hi/Bye/Mom/Dad/Bro/Uh ohh, and a few others. She has really started to take off with her vocabulary, and movements. We are so very proud of her.
Update for Christopher;
He has almost gotten straight A’s and B’s but has some trouble with science. He is working very hard in school and it shows. He celebrated his Christmas with a lot of skateboard equipment, and warm clothes. He has been doing so good. We’re extremely proud of his progress.
Enjoy the pictures, and I hope everyone has a happy and safe new year. Enjoy!
Christmas has come and gone, and the kids had a wonderful time. I wanted to send a special shout out to our family and friends for making it an extra special time for our kids and us as well. You’re all very special to us, and we thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful gifts. Here are a couple of pictures from the day. Enjoy.
My sister was awesome enough to send some pics of my Niece and Nephew on Christmas morning. Hint, my niece is wearing the Christmas outfit that Jen and I got her :). I hope everyone had a great Christmas. New Years is around the corner.
I have a ton of pics this year of our Christmas Celebrations. It has been wonderful so far. We had Christmas Eve dinner at my parents house, wonderful Fish Chowder prepared by my dad. Sourdough bread, and some white wine, perfect compliment to a cold day, however it wasn’t cold. It was a nice and balmy 74 degrees that night in St. Augustine Florida.
Christmas morning was a blast with Mom in town and on loan from Bill Whitney ( I promise I’ll return her ). Take a look at the picture gallery, as always click the pic for the full gallery. More updates coming for New Years, as we gear up for yet another celebration with my parents and Mary ( other mommy).
Todd has experienced an excellent week. Todd has a little case of pneumonia the past couple of days, but the doctor has jumped right on it and started antibiotics to get Todd well. This is not uncommon due to being on the vent. Todd is working very hard to get off the vent, however he can only do what his diaphragm will allow, but he been doing 10-15 hours a day. This is working his respiratory muscles and will get him strong again. I see Todd getting off the vent within the next few weeks.
Todd and I had an excellent Christmas, we both have a lot to be “THANKFUL” for this year, the most important one is that God keep Todd here for us and God continues to answer our prayers and deliver Blessings each and everyday.
Our Family, Terry, Terri, Kevin, Lauren, Carol and Sheila Nauman came by today and celebrate Christmas with us. It was a really good day for Todd and I with my family spending the day with us at the hospital celebrating this special day. They really made the day an enjoyable day and we both enjoyed the company and the things everyone has done in order to make this day special for us. THANK YOU ALL!
Todd’s health continues to improve a little each day, vitals are good and stable. They do complete blood work every three days just to stay on top of anything developing. I meet with the Doctors on Thursday and they stated Todd was doing very well, that now its just a time and patients before Todd really takes a jump to get over that hurdle. Its been over 110 days and the worst and longest days are over, THANK GOD!
JUST KEEP THE PRAYERS GOING SO GOD CAN CONTINUE TO ANSWER AND BLESS US EVERYDAY.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR, MAY 2010 BE A GREATER YEAR IN MANY WAYS FOR ALL OF US.
Thank you all for the support, care and love you all have shown us over these past few months.
